What are the terms & conditions?

Purchase of or use of gift card constitutes agreement to the following terms: Gift card has no fees and will never expire. Valid toward purchase of merchandise at participating True Value stores in the United States and online at TrueValue.com. Gift card cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash (unless required by law). To check your balance, visit a participating True Value store, visit us online at TrueValue.com, or call 1-888-729-7845. Lost, stolen or damaged gift cards can only be replaced upon presentation of original sales receipt for any remaining balance. True Value reserves the right to deactivate or reject any gift card issued or procured, directly or indirectly, with fraudulent actions, unless prohibited by law. Where can True Value gift cards be used?

True Value gift cards may be used at participating stores and online at TrueValue.com.

 

Do True Value gift cards ever expire?

No. True Value gift cards do not expire.

 

What card designs are available?

Several designs are available and designs may change seasonally.  Please see the gift card gallery online at TrueValue.com or visit a participating True Value store for our current selection.

 

How many denominations are available?

True Value gift cards are non-denominated. They can be purchased in any amount between $5 - $1000 per card.

 

Can I purchase electronic gift cards or just plastic gift cards?

Yes, both virtual gift cards and plastic gift cards are available at TrueValue.com.

 

Can I include a personal message with the gift card?

Yes.  You may include a personalized message that is up to 200 characters.

 

Will you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes.  We can ship to up to 5 addresses in one order.

 

When will I receive my gift cards?

Delivery times are determined by the shipping method selection.

 

What payment methods can I use?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

 

What are the shipping options?

We can ship your gift cards free of charge through Standard USPS. You can expedite the shipping for a fee through FedEx (Next Day or Second Day). Please keep in mind, we require one day to process your order before shipping. Shipping costs apply for each address we ship to.

 

Can I return or exchange gift cards?

True Value gift cards are not returnable and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash (unless required by law).

 

How do I check my order status and delivery?

Order tracking will depend on shipping method selected. Standard USPS orders cannot be tracked but if you expedited your shipping through Fed Ex, you will receive a tracking number in your Order Confirmation.

 

What if my gift cards are lost or stolen?

If your gift card has been lost or stolen, it can be replaced upon presentation of the original sales receipt or order confirmation for any remaining balance. Please call 1-888-729-7845.

 

Do you offer volume discounts?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer volume discounts for gift card purchases at this time.

 

How do I order a gift card?

Gift cards are available for purchase at participating True Value stores and at TrueValue.com

 

How do I activate my card(s) once I receive them?

Gift cards purchased at participating True Value stores will be activated upon purchase. Plastic gift cards purchased online at TrueValue.com will be activated while in route to the recipient. E-gift card recipients will receive an e-mail containing a link that will activate the e-gift card.

What is an e-gift card?

An e-gift card is an electronic gift card that is sent to a recipient via email.  They can be printed out and used at participating True Value stores, or redeemed online at TrueValue.com. E-gift cards do not have fees and do not have expiration dates.

 

What exactly does the recipient receive when I sent an e-gift card?

On the delivery date of your choice, the recipient will receive an e-mail informing them of your gift with a link to retrieve it online. The link will show the design of the card you selected, your message, and the card value.

 

How do I know the recipient actually received the e-gift card?

The purchaser will receive an e-mail confirmation.

 

What is the minimum amount I can load on a card or e-gift card?

The minimum amount is $5.

 

What is the maximum amount I can load on a card or e-gift card?

The maximum amount is $1000.

 

Do I need to order a minimum quantity of gift cards?

No. There is not a minimum order.

 

Is there a maximum quantity of gift cards that I can order?

Yes. The maximum quantity is 5 gift cards per order.

 

Can I use these cards in another country?

At this time, True Value gift cards may only be used at participating stores in the United States.

 

Can recipients of True Value gift cards redeem them for cash?

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.

 

Do True Value gift cards have any fees?

There are no fees associated with True Value gift cards.

 

How do I check the balance of a gift card?

You may check gift card balances at participating True Value stores, online at TrueValue.com or by calling 1-888-729-7845.

 

How do I load more value to a gift card?

You may reload gift cards at participating True Value stores and online at TrueValue.com.

 

Can I monitor the transactions where the gift card was used?

Gift card transactions are available by calling 1-888-729-7845.

 

Can I consolidate True Value gift cards into one card?

No, gift cards cannot be consolidated.

 

Who do I contact if I have a problem with my order?

Is there an invoice or reference number for my order?

Yes, a reference number will be e-mailed to you with your order confirmation.

 

Where can I ship my order?

Gift cards may be shipped to valid street addresses within the 50 United States.  We do not ship gift cards outside of the United States.  For your protection, we do not ship to Post Office Boxes.
